id3A Joins Oak Point Associates as an Enhanced Design Studio

A Collaboration Expanding Capabilities Across Architecture, Engineering, and Planning

HARTFORD, CT – March, 2025 – id3A, a trusted leader in architecture and interior design for commercial, civic, and educational projects, is excited to announce its new chapter as id3A, an Oak Point Studio. Partnering with Oak Point Associates (OPA), a full-service design and consulting organization, this collaboration creates a robust design studio with expanded capabilities and resources.

The partnership unites id3A’s expertise in design and client service with OPA’s multidisciplinary approach, which includes in-house architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, fire protection, and site planning. Together, the two firms bring a wealth of experience delivering innovative and comprehensive solutions across commercial, civic, educational, and government markets.

"It’s really an incredible fit, as the culture at OPA mirrors our own,” says Stevanie Demko, Principal of id3A. “We’re still the same id3A—same team, same small business, same personalized attention, and the same principal involvement that our clients trust. What’s new is the expanded support and resources that Oak Point Associates bring to the table, enabling us to deliver even greater value. I had that same feeling of alignment and understanding the first time I met with OPA, and I know our clients will experience it too.”

OPA’s well-established reputation throughout New England, with offices in Biddeford, Maine, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, complements id3A’s strong presence in Connecticut. The combined organization offers a comprehensive suite of services and decades of experience across both private and public sectors. id3A will continue to operate from its Glastonbury office under its new name, ensuring continuity for clients and projects.

“The partnership between OPA and id3A, and our shared commitment to design excellence, will create new opportunities for us throughout New England” says Rob Tillotson, President of OPA. “As we’ve gotten to know Stevanie and her team, we have seen a very similar approach to design, a strong office culture and regional reputation. Working with our new colleagues will allow us to continue to serve our existing client base with an office in Southern New England.”

Clients of id3A will continue working with the same trusted teams, on the same schedules, and under the same terms they’re familiar with. This collaboration brings added depth to our capabilities, combining our expertise with OPA’s to take on projects of any size or complexity with ease.

This partnership marks an exciting new phase for id3A and OPA, further solidifying their shared commitment to exceptional service and innovative design.
